AMINO ACIDS

Amin 12 and Amin 24 are amino acid based products obtained from the enzymatic hydrolysis of plant derived materials, forming short molecular chains easily available to the plant. Plants synthesise amino acids from carbon, water and nitrogen, playing an essential role in their metabolism, being a basic component of proteins and growth hormones such as auxins. When applied to plants, they are absorbed straight away through the leaf stomata into the plant sap, without the need of any chlorophyllic activity. This allows substantial energy savings in the metabolic activities of the plant, enabling it to concentrate on other vital processes.
Amin 12 and Amin 24 activate the physiological processes of the crop, acting as potent plant tissue renovators. They should not be mixed with alkaline broths, oils, sulphur or copper based products. They are suitable for all types of crops, particularly in the following situations:

  • To promote the crops vegetative development, especially at the beginning of critical growing stages or to stimulate their recovery when affected by adverse conditions such as frost, transplanting, hail, drought stress, phytotoxic effects, flooding, etc.
  • Applied to the soil, they improve the absorption of soil micronutrients complexing and making them available to the crop. They also enhance microbial activity and root development.
  • They improve the effect and absorption of systemic pesticides and foliar fertilisers.
  • They supply nitrogen in a readily available form, helping to overcome nitrogen deficiencies and poor plant growth, greening up plant tissues.
