MULTISEI LINE

Liquid organic fertilisers

The main advantage of the Multisei line in relation to solid organic fertilisers, is that due to its liquid formulation they can be placed exactly in the rooting zone, where the crop can maximise its uptake. This is especially important for long-cycle crops and perennial crops, where it is virtually impossible to reach the root zone with solid fertilisers, wasting great part of their application. Other benefits of the product range are:

  • Contribution to increase the fertility of degraded soils with low organic matter levels.
  • Improvement of the efficiency of chemical fertilisers by increasing the cationic exchange capacity (C.E.C) and consequently the storage of nutrients in the soil, thanks to the formation of the clay-humic complex in the soil. In the long term, production costs can be reduced as the amount of chemical fertilisers required diminishes.
  • Improvement of the biological activity of soils, providing food and support to soil microorganisms. These, in turn, contribute to the mineralisation of nutrients and act as antagonists of soilborne pathogens.
  • Improvement of soil physical properties: better structure and greater air and water holding capacity by increasing, among others, the soil porosity thereby preventing compaction and water-logging. They also contribute to the formation of soil aggregates that improve soil friability, facilitating ploughing and cultivation of agricultural soils.
  • Multisei and Multisei K are an important source of macro and micronutrients, particularly relevant in intensive organic farming and nurseries.
  • The combined use of Seipabrand with Ferroquel or other trace elements improves significantly their availability to the soil nutrient solution, enhancing their root absorption.
  • Enhancement of the effectiveness of Nemasei and other nematicides for nematode control.
