SPIDERMITE CONTROL
For an adequate management of parasitic spidermites, cultural measure should be borne in mind. These include, keeping a high relative humidity in greenhouse crops, strict hygienic measures to prevent spreading to different areas and avoiding the use of non selective total insecticides such as pirethroids, which induce sudden increases in spidermite pest populations. SEIPASA offers two products against parasitic mites,
Oleomax, for preventive treatments and low infestations and
Lacartron, for the control of highly infested crops. For both products it is essential to spray to run-off, covering both sides of the leaves in order to optimise contact with the pest.
